New Anti-Virus Program from Microsoft

Microsoft Security Essentials is a new free consumer anti-malware solution for your computer, it helps protect against viruses, spyware and other malicious software. It's available as a no-cost download for Windows XP SP2 and higher, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Due to the problems a few members have encountered using AVG the Guru’s are recommending that you check this out, and remember to uninstall AVG although when I installed it on one of our computers I noticed that AVG was uninstalled after I finished.

You can download it by following the shortened link I have provided for you at http://tinyurl.com/yhnkr2e

Program Presentation

Nancy Smith

Nancy gave a very informative presentation on creating albums and memories using Creative Memories software. She enjoyed sharing with our Computer Club, and has provided the following information about purchasing the digital software. The digital software is very useful and a wonderful value. She uses it to organize her pictures and to make beautiful books that capture stories.

You can purchase Creative Memories software on her website by clicking on the link.  http://www.mycmsite.com/sites/nancysmith

Once on the website home page go to Shop Products, then Digital on the left drop down menu.

For Organizing and Editing - Memory Manager 3.0.  This is $39.95

For Digital Storybooks-  StoryBook Creator Plus.  This is $64.95

There is a great "package" deal that offers both software's and a pre-paid storybook voucher.  You'll find it under Digital I, and Digital 2 packages.

This is the best value offer.

There is a great video you can watch on her website called "It's a Digital Life" that gives you a review of what both products offer. There are also training links on the HELP ZONE to assist you as you get started, as well as training included with the software.  Please let her know if she can answer any questions for you or provide you with additional information as you get started using it. You are going to love this software!
