Add Computer To The Taskbar
It you don’t have a Computer Icon on your desktop and you constantly have to go to the Start menu to go to Computer here is a great tip to help you. By placing the Computer on your taskbar you will be able to navigate to the different drives with just one click.
TIP: Right click on a blank area of the Taskbar. When the menu appears place the pointer on Toolbars. A sub menu appears, click on New Toolbar. A window opens and in the Explorer section, (left side of window), click on Desktop. In the main window click once on Computer and then click Select Folder.
On the right side of the taskbar you will now see Computer >> with two chevrons. Click on the chevrons, (>>), and a menu will appear letting you navigate thru the different drives on your computer.
NOTE: This will work with any folder on your computer so if there is a folder you are working with on a regular basis this is a good way to save some time.
If you want to delete the item just right click on the Taskbar, point to Toolbars and from the sub menu remove the checkmark from the item.
